You Version is a Bible App that I recommend to anyone. I am a huge fan of this app because of the Bible Plan feature. Reading and studying the scripture is critical but I can admit that there are times when I struggle with this and I feel stuck.  There are also times when I need help establishing direction for study. This is where the Bible Plan feature comes in handy. The Bible Plan feature allows you to:

  1. Search for topics based on interest and/or need

I have found that when I am struggling in an area or if I have read something in the scripture that is unclear that I can find a Bible plan that will bring clarity to the situation. There is a wide range of plans written by a diverse group of people of faith for anyone looking to gain a better understanding of what God’s Word has to say about the topic of choice.

  1. Invite friends to join study a plan with you

This is one of my favorite aspects of the Bible Plan feature. This is a great way to build community with friends and family as you study topics based on scripture. As you move through each day of the plan, you and your friends can comment on your takeaways. You can see your friend’s response and they in turn can see yours. It’s almost like being in a virtual small group!

  1. Receive Reminders and Encouragement to Stay On Track

The Bible App allows you to set reminders so that you can stay on track with your plan. The goal is to make sure that you engage with the plan(s) daily. I love receiving the reminders. I also love receiving the badges for engaging in the Word of God on a regular basis.

I love these three things about the You Version Bible Plan App Feature. I have completed 89 Bible plans so far and I intend to keep going because I feel more rooted and grounded in the Word of God after reading each plan!
